Meet our founders:
Barbara Dale | Co-Founder
Barbara graduated with an MBA at the University of Chicago. She joined a large janitorial company in Chicago as its Director of Sales and was promoted soon after to VP of Sales and Marketing. Although the company cared for 50 million square feet of office space per night, it had not developed a comprehensive carpet cleaning program after being in business for 67 years. She became committed to studying and creating, a comprehensive, environmentally-aware method of cleaning carpet and fabric. In 1986, she relocated from Lake Bluff, IL, to Kiawah Island and then to Seabrook Island where her passion remains just as high and she remains true to her original commitment to create a cleaning process that enhances the quality of indoor air environment. .
Tom Murray | Co-Founder
Tom originally hails from Dayton, OH where he attended the Dayton Art Institute. He moved to Summerville and began a janitorial and carpet cleaning company at the age of 21. He and Barbara met a decade later as competitors and decided to joins forces in the spirit of "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." That was 25 years ago. Tom is a master carpet cleaner, totally devoted to his customers and to the business, and has a true love of a new challenge. Tom's artistic abilities are always present in his attention to detail. Although his time on the water is very limited, he is happy to tell you about the one that did NOT get away. The true delights of this life are not his moments in his boat fishing but his two beautiful daughters and two most adorable granddaughters and great son-in-law.
